Welcome to the online home of the Winston-Salem (NC) Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., dedicated to fostering brotherhood and academic excellence. The information provided on this page is meant to offer a general understanding of our principles and values. However, they should not be considered as legal advice or membership qualification, as specific instructions for establishing the terms of engagement, as each fraternity chapter may have its own leadership, events, and programs. Event Refunds
The Winston-Salem (NC) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. strives to host high-quality events and programs. We understand that plans can change; however, because our events require significant upfront financial commitments for venues, catering, and materials, we adhere to the following policy:
1. General Refund Requests

Full Refunds: Requests for a full refund (minus any third-party processing fees) must be submitted in writing via email at least 14 days prior to the scheduled event date.

Partial Refunds: Requests made between 7 and 13 days prior to the event may be eligible for a 50% refund at the discretion of the Chapter Board.

No Refunds: Requests made less than 7 days before an event, as well as "no-shows," are ineligible for a refund.
2. Ticket Transfers
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another Brother or guest. To ensure a smooth check-in, please notify the Event Coordinator or Chapter Keeper of Records of the name change at least 48 hours before the event.
3. Event Cancellation or Postponement

In the rare event that the Chapter must cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, venue issues), all registrants will receive a full refund.

If an event is postponed to a later date, your registration will automatically transfer to the new date. If you cannot attend the rescheduled date, a full refund will be provided upon request.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or ticket transfer, please contact the Chapter leadership through our Contact Form or email the Event Coordinator directly. Please include your name, the event title, and your order confirmation number.
Note: This policy is intended as a general guideline. For specific Foundation galas or high-ticket fundraisers, additional terms may apply.
