Twin City Diamond Foundation

About the Foundation

Twin City Diamond Foundation, Inc. (Foundation) was incorporated in the state of North Carolina on April 20, 2007 under the name Kappa Foundation of Winston-Salem. It was designated as a 501(c)3 tax-exempt charity by the Internal Revenue Service on January 24, 2008.

The Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and/or scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (or the corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue Law).

The mission of the Foundation is to foster the intellectual, ethical, social, and moral development of young people in central North Carolina, with special emphasis on disadvantaged African-American young men. In addition to nurturing and supporting the intellectual development of young people, the foundation strives to deepen young people’s commitment to their communities and to promote pro-social values such as personal responsibility, respect for self, respect for others, and
achievement in every field of endeavor.
